Heart Healthy Burgers

Beef/Chicken burger; lean and protein focused. Use a whole grain bun or a lettuce wrap

Yellow Fin Tuna Burger

Grilled PortaBella Mushroom “Burger” – Vegetarian option which is low in fat and high in protein
Topped with roasted red pepper, mozzarella, arugula, and low fat herded mayo.

Side dishes
Grilled vegetable Pasta salad with a balsamic pesto dressing – refreshing and uses locally grown produce
Grilled pear salad with fetta, pistachios, and maple dressing – Sweet, low carb

Tuna Burger:
1 ½ Yellow Fin Tuna, Coarsley Chopped
3 TB Bread Crumbs
2TB Dijon Mustard
5 TSP Shallots
1 TB Lemon Juice and S&P

Blend all ingredients and form into patties. Chill until firm

*Serve with salsa or spicy mayo

Pasta Salad:
Vegetable Marinade: ¼ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
¼ Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Fresh Garlic to Taste

Coat vegetables in marinade, shake off excess, and grill. Toss with pasta of your choice, balsamic dressing mixed with pesto.
