Dr. Michael Rothberg

Medical Director

Dr. Rothberg is board certified in internal medicine. He is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center, where he serves as Associate Director of the Internal Residency program.

Dr. Mark D. Pass

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Dr. Pass is certified in Palliative, Geriatric and Internal Medicine, He is a leading physician, well known throughout the community, and affiliated with Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Pass is known for his unhurried manner, giving each of his patients all the time they need, and looking at every aspect of a problem to get to the root of each diagnosis.

Yulady Saluti

Director of Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Yulady brings a profound dedication and compassionate approach to her role. Her professional journey commenced in Activities, where she leveraged her extensive background as a yoga instructor to enhance the well-being of the residents. After a year in the senior care field, Yulady was drawn to the specialized area of memory care, which she considers her true vocation.

In her current capacity, Yulady oversees the daily operations of the Journeys program at Willow Springs. She also plays a pivotal role in educating both patients and their families about the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and various forms of dementia, and the impact on daily functioning. Furthermore, she is responsible for equipping families with the necessary resources to navigate the multifaceted challenges associated with a dementia diagnosis.

Dr. Todd Cohen

Cardiac Program Director

Dr. Cohen is board certified in cardiology and has been practicing cardiology with distinction for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and an undergraduate of the University of PA. He completed his internship in internal medicine/cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is accredited at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, and RWJBH CMC.

Dr. Fred J. Rothberg

Wound Care Specialist

Dr. Rothberg is a double Board Certified Wound Care Specialist who works with Advanced Practice Nurses and many specialists to treat simple to the most complicated wounds successfully. He is a national lecturer and educator in the field of wound care with more than 25 years of experience. He is also one of the lead physicians at the Center for Wound Care at Ocean Medical Center in Brick NJ.

Ajay Mathur MD, FACP

Infectious Disease Doctor

Dr. Mathur volunteers on a national level with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and maintains a leadership role within ID Care. His favorite aspect of his career is having the opportunity to intervene and positively impact a patient in regards to their illness. He enjoys working as part of a healthcare team to provide the best possible outcomes for patients. He is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center and Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey

Sukrut Dwivedi DO, DACP

Infectious Disease Doctor

Dr. Dwivedi specializes in all areas of infectious disease with specific expertise in advanced treatments and therapies for HIV patients. He is also the Section Chief in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Monmouth Medical Center. As a Clinical Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University, Dr. Dwivedi fosters an environment of continual growth in medicine – both inside and outside of ID care.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), and the HIV Medical Association (HIVMA), and has also been published in The Journal of Clinical Microbiology. He is a consistent recipient of the Top Doctors recognition by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and a two-time winner of the Nurses’ Choice Award Physician of the Year at Ocean Medical Center.

Dr. Jennifer Scheick

Physiatrist

Dr. Scheick is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and has presented extensively on stroke and neurorehabilitation. She served as Chief Resident of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, and as Transitional Year Resident at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors from Widener University. Dr. Scheick is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a member of the New Jersey Society of PM&R.

Dr. Owen Carolan

Internal Medicine

Dr. Owen Carolan, Doctor of Internal Medicine, completed his undergrad at Monmouth University BS Biology with a minor in chemistry. He graduated with honors from Ross University School of Medicine and did his residency at Somerset Medical Center – Chief Resident 3rd year. He has been in private practice since 2007 and serves as Chair of Family Medicine at Ocean Medical Center. He is a proud husband and father of 4 children and loves to play golf and go snowboarding.

Kelly Dahms, RN

Clinical Nurse Concierge

Kelly Dahms, RN, is Willow Springs’ new nurse concierge. As the nurse concierge, Kelly Dahms assists in educating residents on their medical conditions and medications. She also liaises with residents’ caregivers, providing regular updates, including changes in condition, and answering any questions they may have. Kelly possesses a deep nursing background, including previous experience as a staff nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit and as a manager of a subacute rehabilitation unit. In addition to her nursing degree, Dahms earned a master’s degree in Health and Wellness Coaching from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
